Terms and Conditions
‘THE COMPANY’ or ‘We’ is Luna Sky Teepees
‘THE HIRER’ or ‘You’ is the person hiring the goods and services of Luna Sky Teepees and appears on the booking confirmation. The hirer must be 18 years or over.
The terms and conditions detailed below is an agreement between the company and hirer.
- General Terms & Conditions
All goods remain the property of the company.
Bookings are secured when the company receives a 50% deposit.
Bookings can only be secured through the company website www.lunasky-teepees.co.uk or via a direct bank transfer upon receipt of an invoice from the company.
If an enquiry is made for the same date, the booking will go to whichever party has paid the 50% deposit first.
The remaining balance and a £50 damage deposit is required 2 weeks before the event date.
The £50 security deposit will be returned in full within 48hrs of collection, unless deductions need to be made for any damaged goods.
An inventory of all hired goods and products will be provided in advance, detailing the cost of each item. The hirer shall pay the company for any repair or replacement of goods that are lost, stolen or damaged beyond reasonable repair.
Customer should ensure that the space is ready for set-up and should be clear of all furniture. Upon collection all hired need to be in place as per the set-up. The company has the right to charge an additional £15.00 for additional tidying.
The cost will be deducted from the security deposit and an invoice sent for any additional costs.
A fuel charge will be added for any bookings 6-miles outside of Bromley. Congestion Charge and Parking Charges will need to be covered by the Hirer.
The company has the right to cancel bookings made 10-miles outside of Bromley and Forest Hill. 100% of what you have paid will be returned if the party is cancelled 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the date.
We cannot return your payment if your event is cancelled less than 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the event date.
The company is not held responsible for any 3rd party costs or losses due to a cancellation of a party and will be based on their terms and conditions.
The company has the right to cancel the booking in the event of non-payment, or if there is a breach of the terms & conditions.
On the day of the event our services delivery times can be subject to traffic and other factors out of the companies control.
The hirer is responsible for providing parking and must provide a valid permit or pay any parking costs (if applicable) in advance. The hirer is responsible for paying any penalty parking tickets issued, the company has the right to withhold the deposit to pay for any parking related charges.
Customers shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure the goods are not damaged or misused during the hire period.
Accessories for each theme are subject to change and may vary slightly from the images seen on the company website and social media platforms.
- Health & Safety Conditions
It is the hirers responsibility to check there is enough room for the set-up. Each teepee requires a minimum space of 170cm x 80cm.
You are responsible for ensuring the room and space is clear for set-up of the teepees. We will not move or rearrange any furniture
The hirer is responsible to inform the company if the set-up is higher than the ground floor and help carry the teepees and accessories to the required location
We will work with the layout of the room but will not take any responsibility if there is not enough space to fit the number of hired teepees and will not refund the price of the teepee/s unable to fit.
The company must set-up and take down the hired equipment and require you to leave all items assembled upon collection
Children must be 6 years or older unless agreed by the company.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to take duty of care and supervise children when hiring equipment.
The following are not permitted:
- No smoking in the same room as the teepees
- No sharp objects near the teepees
- No outdoor shoes to be worn inside the teepees
- Make-up, face painting, beauty face masks to be removed
Food, drinks, sweets to be consumed on the trays provided and outside of the teepees
The hirer is responsible to inform the company if anyone attending the party suffers from allergies in advance of the booking. The company cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from allergies.
Purchased Goods & Services Health & Safety
The hirer is responsible to request for a full list of ingredients and safety information of products supplied by the company including the Mini Luxe Spa, Sweet Jars, Donut Walls and Biscuits.
The hirer is responsible to inform the company if anyone attending the party suffers from allergies in advance of the booking. The company cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from allergies.
Covid-19 Terms & Conditions
The hirer is responsible to inform the company if anyone in the household or attendees of the party are showing any symptoms of coronavirus, including a continuous cough, high temperature or a loss of, or change in normal sense of taste or smell, or are required to self-isolate in accordance with relevant laws or guidance.
The company and hirer have the right to cancel at short notice if any members begin to show symptoms of Covid19. The booking can be rescheduled to an alternative date.
The company and hirer will comply with Government and NHS guidance to help limit the spread of COVID-19, including social distancing wherever possible and wearing face masks.
